Yoga Camp Information
What to bring:
Yoga mat, shawl or blanket, water bottle, sunblock (hopefully necessary), mozzie repellent (hopefully not necessary), wet weather gear (let’s hope not, but do check the forecast), bedding, camping gear (unless bunking), towel (there are good hot showers!), and anything else you may need to feel safe and happy over the weekend.
Other info:
Turn up on Friday afternoon to set up camp or move into your bunkroom. The first yoga class usually starts about 4.00 pm, with a Kirtan held after dinner.
If you require a bunk you will have to book as there are limited beds available. If you plan to camp, bring everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one. Chlorinated drinking water and showers are available, and there is a beautiful river on our doorstep for swimming. Yoga Camp will be running regardless of weather, but it is recommended that you check the weather forecast prior to coming, and take clothes accordingly.
Refreshments:
Chai and delicious snacks will be available to purchase during Chai Times (indicated on timetable). Cups of tea will be provided at Morning and Afternoon Tea and snacks will be available to purchase. Bring along cash as ATMs are not available on site.
Karma Yoga:
As part of our measures to keep costs down, we ask that everyone helps to serve, prepare, or clean up after one meal during the weekend. You will learn how to prepare your food to maximise nutrition, as well as have an opportunity to experience the spiritual benefits of service!
As this event is a family friendly yoga event, we ask that you keep your drugs and alcohol at home.
Thank you.
