When does Yoga Camp March 2013 begin?
Registration at the Welcome Tent opens at 3.30pm on Friday March 15th 2013.
The first yoga class begins at 4.30pm.
Participants are welcome to arrive on Friday before 3.30pm, unwind with a swim in the river, set up your tent (if camping) and get settled in for a great weekend. It’s not an expectation by any means but if you arrive early and would like to help the setup crew with preparations, you will be very welcome.
When does Yoga Camp March 2013 finish?
Please note: The program for Yoga Camp March 2013 will finish on Sunday 17th March at 5pm.
We welcome you to stay on Sunday night and help with pack down. We always have a lot of fun and we will be providing a Sunday night meal and breakfast Monday morning for those who volunteer for $2/meal to help cover costs. If you plan to stay just let the registration crew know on arrival.

Accommodation
Camping
Camping is included in the ticket price. The Yoga Camp site at Moira Park is set within 600 acres of woodland on the beautiful Goulburn River. There are many grassy camping spots along the river both upstream and downstream of the workshop areas. We recommend bringing everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one. Chlorinated drinking water and showers are available, and there is a beautiful river on our doorstep for swimming. Yoga Camp will be running regardless of weather, so we recommend that you check the weather forecast prior to coming, and take clothes accordingly.
Bunks
There are a limited number of bunks available in the rustic dormitory and shared family rooms for $5 for the weekend. The dormitory is suitable for adults and older children, for families with small children the family rooms offer more privacy and have two sets of bunks. Bunks can be booked when purchasing tickets through the tickets page. You will need to bring a sheet, sleeping bag/doona, pillow and pillow case.
What to bring
Help us avoid using disposable stuff by BYOing eating utensils including mug (for yummy chai & tea), plate, bowl, knife, fork and spoon.
For yoga – bring a yoga mat or buy one at the registration tent. You may also like to bring a snuggly blanket or shawl and cushion for meditation (optional).
Camping – tent, mattress, pillow, sleeping bag and any other camping equipment you need to make your stay comfortable. Please do not bring camping stoves – no naked flames are allowed on site.
Bunking – sheet, sleeping bag, pillow & pillow case.
We also recommended bringing: torch, hat, water bottle, swimming gear, sunblock, mozzie repellent, wet weather gear (hopefully not necessary, but do check the forecast), towel (there are good hot showers!), and anything else you may need to feel safe and happy over the weekend.
Chai and snacks
Chai and delicious snacks will be available to purchase ($3-$5) at afternoon tea and evenings as indicated on the program. Bring along cash as ATMs are not available on site. If you are coming from Melbourne the last one on the way before you arrive is at Nagambie.
Carpooling
We love carpooling! If you would like to offer a seat or you are looking for a ride you can do so on the Yoga Camp Facebook Group.
Meals, delicious food!
Delicious vegetarian meals, using organic ingredients where possible are included in the ticket price and will be served from Friday evening until Sunday lunchtime. We support ethical purchasing and ecologically-sensitive farming practices and are pleased to be sourcing organic produce from Angie and Marcus at Local Organics.
Karma Yoga Volunteering
As part of Yoga Camp participation we require that everyone offers a two hour shift of service during the weekend in kitchen prep, washing dishes, as a chai or meal server etc. Our friendly registration crew will help you sign up when you arrive. Serving others in this way is a great experience and lots of fun, and helps Yoga Camp to continue to offer a quality festival experience at the most affordable price possible.
Refunds
Refunds are not available unless the event is cancelled. If you buy a ticket and can no longer attend we do allow name transfers as long as Yoga Camp is notified up to 7-days before the event.
Yoga Camp is a drug and alcohol free event.
